Nano-Clear Industrial coating is a “tough” clear one-component aliphatic polyurethane/polyurea hybrid with UV absorbers.
Nano-Clear Industrial Coating:
- Prevent corrosion.
- Shield assets from UV degradation.
- Chemically resistant.
- Impervious to water.
- Resists scratching/abrasion/erosion.
- Remains flexible/does not embrittle over time, accommodates thermal cycles and vibration.
Nano-Clear Industrial coating is a moisture cured, one component, nano cross-linked (extreme cross link density) topcoat that is formulated to adhere tenaciously to properly prepared:
- Oxidized/weathered paint – it penetrates into paint system, enhances color and fortifies it for extended life
- Newly painted surfaces – it is meant to work with existing paint systems, not replace them, to create a coating system for long term protection.
- Fiberglass – new and oxidized.
- Concrete
There are additives available to “customize” Nano-Clear for specific performance requirements:
- Nano-Clear NCA – Accelerator. Reduces tack-free time.
- Nano-Clear NCFP – Fluoropolymer. Lowers surface energy for improved water, ice, slurry, oil and swarf repellency. Graffiti is easily removed.
- Nano-Clear VV-200 – Adhesion Promoter. Provides excellent adhesion to acid-etched aluminum and hard-to-stick-to substrates.
- Nano-Clear NCIM – Matting. Adjust gloss to any level.
Application is simple – conventional air/airless spray system, HVLP, roller or paint brush. No oven/external heat is required to cure the product. The NCI formulations may be applied over a wide temperature range and still result in a robust cured film.
The manufacturer warranties the performance of properly applied product for 10 years.
